Create New Business Growth with the Championship 530™

I recently completed a mental toughness challenge with several other business coaches.  It’s called the 75 Hard challenge with Andy Frisella.  I briefly mentioned this challenge in a previous post, and the rules are really simple. The challenge consists of five things that you’ve got to do for 75days.  If you miss any one thing on any one day, you go back to day one.

As you can imagine, it really tests your determination and stamina.

For example

…You need to do two 45 minute workouts a day ONE of these must be done outside regardless of the weather (rain, hail or shine)

…You also have to choose a diet and follow it to the letter. No cheat meals!

…You’re supposed to read 10 pages of a non-fiction book every single day.

…Finally, no alcohol for 75 days

So, I wanted to bring to your attention a process called the Championship 530™, something you can commit to and measure over a 30 day period.  It’s the five things that you can do every day for the next 30 days to grow your business and help your clients get wins.

Halfway through the 75 Hard Challenge, I was inspired as the challenge had completely changed the way I show up in the world.

What intrigued me the most was that Andy Frisella had positioned 75 HArd as a mental toughness challenge.  However, on the surface, it looks so much like a fitness challenge.

One of the key things that stood out to me was the idea of who you become.  That is if you show up at full strength all the time without messing around or making excuses.

It got me thinking, what if we could adopt something similar for business and what would this look like?

And that’s how I came up with the Championship 530™.

With exceptional mental stamina and focus, you can achieve incredible business results.

There are two major factors in the 75 Hard Challenge that can make the difference between cruising to your goals or not.

The first is that a lot of us (not necessarily you) have aspirations about how we want to be different or better.  We even set New Year’s resolutions about how we want our life to be.

In my opinion, aspiration is like a “want-to” and it doesn’t show up in your life.  You can’t just be hoping for things to happen and your life all of sudden magically changes.

You’ve got to have boundaries, which are the second factor.  Yoru boundaries are non-negotiable.

Here’s an example of what I mean

I’ve completed the 75 Hard Challenge (now moved to Phase 1).  Eating healthy and more exercising are my aspirations.  Critically, I turned them into non-negotiable boundaries.  I set a limit that I’m not going to cross.

Recently, my daughter had the entire day plating with her best friend.  By the time the day was done it was late, 10:18 pm late.  Walking to my bedroom my bitch voice was yapping away and telling me to skip the outside workout part of the challenge for that day.  It was raining outside and it was very late anyway.

However, I went for the workout and did the whole 45 minutes in the pouring rain.

Why?

I had to as it’s changed from an inspiration to a boundary.  What happens when something becomes non-negotiable?  You do everything in your power to see it through to completion.  If you cross the boundary, it’s game over.  It’s tough talk time.

However, if you stay committed the results are going to be amazing, both in life and business.
